The Development Representative role is focused purely on locating suitable, strategic property locations on which we can develop new billboards, negotiating rent payments and written property agreements with the property owners, and obtaining Local Authority approvals for these locations. So it is a crucial role for the future growth of our business. 

It is envisaged that initially your role will have a focus on development in the major regional Qld Cities and towns.  

 

The key qualities of the person we want to offer this exciting opportunity to is to be personally motivated, display energy and passion, have well developed written and people skills, be well organized, and can be relied on to  work independently. 

 

The person we want will “ take ownership” of this role and treat it like it is their own business.

You may have had some exposure to either the property industry, or Local Authority processes – this is desirable but not essential. 

 

However, you absolutely must be prepared to travel out into the field regularly to source the billboard property locations – this could involve up to a week away in the field and then one- two weeks in the office and local Townsville market .
