The Hill Estate

The Hill Estate is a residential development on 1 acre blocks at Alligator Creek in Townsville.

Needing a more 'out there' approach to their marketing, The Hill Estate decided to try billboards to capture the traffic travelling around the development. 

"My husband and I are developing The Hill Estate, which is 20 x 1 acre rural residential blocks at Alligator Creek, Townsville. We have tried a few different forms of advertising, including real estate agents, local newpapers and real estate web sites. 

We decided to take a more active approach and realised we needed to try a different avenue. We developed our website, business cards, for sale signs and road signs to direct prospective buyers to our estate. 

Driving into town and back I started looking at other angles and noticed Paradise Outdoor Advertising's billboards. Decided to get in contact with them, and got a great positive response straight up and it went from there! 

Once our billboard went up on the way to Alligator Creek, we sold a block 3 weeks later! The couple that purchased the land had been driving past the estate for the last 18 months! The billboard has now paid for itself and there is still a lot of life left in it.
