Ergon Energy, as a Queensland Government Owned Corporation, operates as an electricity distributor, retailer and generator and services around 680,000 customers across its vast operating area of over one million square kilometres – 97% of the state of Queensland – from the expanding coastal and rural population centres to the remote communities of outback Queensland and the Torres Strait.

General Manager Service Delivery Northern Paul Ryan said research indicated a growing customer desire to reduce energy consumption to save money. 

To reinforce the energy sense message and as part of this partnership, Cowboys players Brent Tate, Isaak Ah Mau & Leeson Ah Mau along with Townsvilles Mayor Les Tyrell painted on a billboard. Spelling out the words 'Energy Sence'. 

We recently ran an 'energy sense' billboard event in Townsville which involved inviting local dignitaries painting the energy sense message on a key billboard site. This was an example of a great idea that required a lot of time and effort to ensure it became a great achievement. Mitch and his team at Paradise did a fantastic job organising all of the logistical components to ensure all seemed effortless and smooth on the day. The result: a fantastic event, fantastic media coverage and importantly: a fantastic looking billboard. Thanks guys!
