Maryborough is a city of some 26,000 residents, just a couple of hours north of Brisbane. It is an important stop on the road for travellers heading both north and south. Billboards provide a great opportunity for the city council to alert this drive market of attractions in their city and to give tourists a reason to stop in Maryborough. 

 

 

An innovative branding campaign was devised which involved securing billboards in strategic locations on the Bruce Highway. Intriguing copy lines and local points of interest have meant the campaign is a continuing success. 

“When elected in 2004, one of my key priorities was to raise Maryborough’s presence in both locals and the tourist drive market. Paradise went ‘the extra mile’ to understand our requirements and even developed specific billboard locations for our campaign. They provided excellent advice to us on all aspects of what continues to be a successful campaign.”
