REVEALED: Where's the biggest new TV in CQ?
THE Rockhampton CBD will shine bright at night with a new 42 square metre digital billboard installed in the heart of the city.
On the 10th of March 2018, POA Operations team worked through the night to install the latest portrait, digital billboard. The $250,000 investment installed on the corner of Sydney and Victoria streets, was built and transported from POA Townsville headquarters. "We have selected one of the high profile intersections in Mackay to bring in one of the latest regional technologies with LED screen," CEO Mitch James told the Daily Mercury.
This 22 metre squared billboard will be able to deliver interactive information such as temperature, time, community announcements and severe weather warnings. "We will put those up to really communicate and engage with the community," Mr James says.
Development Services director Gerard Carlyon said the community would benefit from this donation in times of need. "Paradise Signs has generously agreed to let council use this sign in emergency events, free of charge," Mr Carlyon said.
Keep your eyes peeled for POA 's latest digital billboard installation in April 2018.
