POA is redefining roadside advertising, announcing their first Roadside State-of-the-Art Digital Billboard that will captivate the entire city.
Paradise Outdoor Advertising donates billboards to assist police in
Local outdoor advertising company Paradise Outdoor Advertising (POA) have recently donated several billboards in both Cairns and Townsville in order to assist police in finding the person who killed 24-year-old local, Toyah Cordingley.
The North Queensland advertising company believes it is vital to support the local community and come together in this time of need. POA hopes the billboards will be a step closer to getting justice for Ms Cordingley’s friends, family and community.
“It is really important for the whole North Queensland community to come together at a time like this. This is a horrible thing to happen and any information is really important,” says Mitch James, CEO of POA.

“Thousands of people will drive past the billboards daily and someone out there knows something - that is why we feel it is important to have billboards up in Cairns and Townsville and hope that this impacts the case in a positive way.”
Ms Cordingley left her home to walk her dog on a Sunday afternoon in October 2018 before her body was found on Wangetti Beach, 42 kilometres north of Cairns, early the next day. Police have been treating the Cairns woman’s death as a homicide.
Billboards are located in Captain Cook Highway, Aeroglen and Bruce Highway, White Rock as well as Flinders Street, Townsville CBD.
